They updated the site and now this is pretty much useless. Anyways, the way you could have used my code above is by making a bookmark in your browser and then pasting the code where the URL would go. Then you would click on the bookmark to save the picture.

They must have updated the site as it is easy to save you painting now just click on save – then you get a thumbnail and you right click and choose save as

Hi Brian,

Thank you for programming this plug-in. It is very handy because my laptop is kind of slow and has little memory and to launch TB or FF to check mail is quite a thing. But with plug-in I know what is going on in my mailboxes!
I am using version 1.1 on Xfce 4.10 – there is a bug. Once the Internet connection is interrupted a little red minus symbol appears but unfortunately even if the connection gets restored the plug-in doesn’t remove this little minus until next reboot.
Also this link http://spuriousinterrupt.org/projects/mailwatch in About and ONhttp://spuriousinterrupt.org/projects/mailwatch this website is broken.
